Introduction

Planethoster facilities exceed industry standards and are designed to meet all customer needs in terms of IT. The facilities are monitored and maintained 24/7.

Located in the Downtown Montreal (Quebec, Canada), our data center is one of the most spacious, safe and accessible in its class. With a redundant infrastructure at 1250 Rene-Levesque, also known as the IBM tower, PlanetHoster ventures to serve its customers at full capacity. To fill a growing expectation, we are also present at the 7171 Jean-Talon Est. The next-generation building uses the same high standards in terms of safety and redundancy.

Network

Our network is fully redundant and it is equipped with high-end Cisco and Juniper equipment. Two routers Cisco 6509 (equipped with two supervisor engines, SUP-720-3BXL) manage traffic. The bandwidth is then distributed to core routers (model Cisco 6509 equipped with two supervisor engines, SUP-720-3B) to supply the distribution switches on which the servers are connected to. The network is fully protected by Juniper firewalls.
